This introductory course is perfect for those looking to start a career in the horticulture industry. It provides hands-on practical learning in a live nursery.
No previous experience is required.
This is a pre-accredited course.

Entry Requirements
All participants must:
– Be a minimum of 17 years of age;
– Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen;
– Not be attending school;
– Be able to read, understand and interpret written information.
Individuals with a disability are encouraged to apply.
Delivery
This course is delivered 2 days per week for 6 weeks from our Mornington campuses. Sessions run Monday and Tuesday from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
The assessment in this course involves non-formal classroom-based workshops and practical tasks. Upon successful completion, participants will be issued with a Certificate of Participation.
