What is it?
A basic technology literacy education program based on the Intel® Learn Easy Steps program.
Who is it for?
Adult learners with little or no experience with computers.
This course may count towards job seeker Annual Activity Requirements (AAR).
This course is an approved Work and Development Permit Scheme (WDPS) activity, if you have a debt from fines (infringement notice) participation in this course may be able to reduce it. Contact the WDPS Team on 1300323 483 or https://www.justice.vic.gov.au/wdp
What does it teach?
Participants learn the ‘basics’ of the computer, enabling them to use the computer in ways that are relevant to their daily lives.
What skills will participants learn?
Through active, hands-on experience, participants learn to explore and use basic computer applications that are used in everyday life, such as internet searches, email, word processing, spreadsheets and multimedia.
