If you think making a cup of coffee involves mixing a teaspoon of instant granules with milk and sugar, think again!
The Barista Course will teach you the basics of what you need to know to use a commercial espresso machine to make the perfect cup of coffee.
Be it a cappuccino, a latte, flat white or maybe even something a little more contemporary like a macchiato, all coffees start from an espresso shot.
In order to successfully undertake the course candidates need to possess English language and literacy competence that will enable them to provide clear information, ask questions, listen to and understand instructions and communicate effectively with others.

Use and set the coffee grinder
Clean and maintain the coffee machine
Tamping correctly
Using fresh coffee beans and the benefits
Using the correct milk texturing techniques

Delivery:
This course is delivered in the classroom over one 5 hour session, 10.00am – 3.00pm, and consists of a combination of theory exercises and practical activities.
