What is it?

A basic technology literacy education program.

 

Some walking required at outdoor locations.

 

Students will require a digital camera and USB storage device. Trainer will supply cameras that may be used during class, but students are encouraged to bring their own. A mobile phone camera will not be suitable for parts of this course. USB flash drives may be borrowed from the trainer, but students are encouraged to purchase their own. Students may bring their own laptop computers to class, or use computers supplied by RTO.

 

Who is it for?

Adult learners with some experience using computers.

What does it teach?

Participants learn the ‘basics’ of digital photography.

 

What skills will participants learn?

Through active, hands-on experience, participants learn to explore and use a digital camera.

 

Program:

Understanding the digital camera

Taking a nice photo

Advanced photographic techniques

Scanning photos and storing digital images

Using a computer to improve photographs, display and print images

 

Course Fees:

There are no hidden course costs. No extra resource or amenities fees apply to our courses.

 

Tuition Fee:              $25 per program

Concession:              $12.50 per program
